Time Flies

It has been a little while since I have had time to get on the computer for anything other than business. I logged onto my personal email two days ago and had 47 emails that were not junk from about 4 days of not checking them! So the last week was absolutely crazy with pet store stuff. 3 events in 7 days. I barely had time to eat and sleep. The good thing, is the summer season of shows is coming to an end. It has been a good summer this year. We were blessed with good weather for every weekend we had an event scheduled for!

On another note school starts in a week and I can't wait! We are camping from Thursday to Monday and they are back in school on Tuesday!

As is par for my busy life, I must return at another time.

Has it really been a week?

What a busy week. We have 3 events coming up and we are just swamped trying to get everything done. This weekend is Bonney Lake Days. Next week we have Rainer School on Thursday and Bark in the Park (Allan Yorke Park) on Saturday. Hopefully, this will gain a little more business for us. (If Pets Ruled The World)

On a good note.........We finally managed to get our 150 gallon aquarium out of the garage and up the stairs. Hopefully I will get our 75 gallon salt water tank moved into it this week! I will have to post pictures when I do.

Life is way too short

Today I found out a man I know was struck and killed by a drunk driver. He leaves behind two children the same age as Audry and Daniel. My heart breaks for his children and wife. I can't imagine what I would do if it were Scott. I just want to remind everyone to take the time to tell those you love that you do love them. They need to hear it. Tell your kids how proud you are of them. Smile at a stranger. Life is too short. Too Short for anger, hate, envy, etc. Live every single day like it is your last. Don't let your last words be angry or hurtful.
To my family and friends...Life would be boring without you! You are important in my life and I love you for who you are and who you are to me. I know, way too mushy for me.

A little more my style:

A smile is contagious!
Don't forget to pass it along!

Tired and Rambling

So here it is midnight again and that's OK. Everyone is asleep. Dogs are snoring on the couch and my tunes are a low hum. The only thing missing is a bowl of ice cream.
So if you don't already know about my pampered chef party on friday at 6:30 you do now! (Come it will be fun. Everyone is invited) Anywho, Scott wanted the bathroom painted before I could invite a bunch of people over. It is finally done!! 2 coats of primer and 2 coats of color. The walls are going to collapse with the weight of it all! It kind of stinks to waste all that time in there. Hopefully, in September I am gutting that bathroom to tile the floor and get new countertops and toilet. It is so much easier to paint without all that stuff in it!
After painting, I got in the pool with the girls (Daniel's in a cast and can't swim). We had a blast. It is nice to have a pool big enough you can actually play in. And to have an hour to be in it also helps. They are growing so fast. It bring little tears to think about how truly close they are to adulthood and how hard it is going to be. We are trying to give them a greater understanding of what it is to be an adult than we had. (Of course, most 17 year olds don't really have a clue as to the massive responsibilities of adult life.)
RANDOM THOUGHTS
I have been looking at blogs and it cracks me up. I have done it to. I call it a family blog, but really its about me. Of course that includes my family because I am totally wrapped up in them, but really this is my thoughts not theirs. You know, the crazy woman these kids call Mom. Sometimes I feel sorry for them to have such a twisted and warped mother. My mother was as normal as they come. (My brothers and sisters can attest to both.) And they don't escape it from there father. I think he keeps both of us feeling young and goofy. He has such a gift for making us laugh. Laughing is so important. With drastic price increases on everything, a lot of people are feeling a little (or big) pinch in the money department. And as everyone knows, financial stuff can cause tension. It is getting harder and harder to stay home with my kids. Not that I have to go get a job or anything yet, but I am seeing it all over. So enough of my crazy ramblings. Good night.

What a week

Daniel broke his wrist this week sliding down the stairs (standing) on a cardboard box. He did say it was fun! Hopefully I will get pictures up this coming week.

I suppose I should go paint the bathroom now.

Just getting started

OK we are going to try this whole blogging thing. It is a great way to keep up with family and friends. Be patient with me while I continue to figure it all out.
